The surprise shoot

Photography is something I always go back to, to escape  the daily routine and enter a world of my own,  finding the perfect moments to click and the perfect frames. The previous weekend a couple of friends happened to come over to do a fashion shoot in my locality for its unique latin portuguese architecture and the vibrant coloured walls, so I grabbed the opportunity, picked my camera and tagged along! These were a few of the shots I managed to capture.

The joy of teaching art

I had never taught kids before, or dealt with handling kids. The whole experience was totally new, but as I am always, I was super excited to dive in something new, and learn from the experience. What I din't know was how much I would come to love this new experience. 

I give private art classes, I started off with one student and I now have three students of the ages 4 and 10. In the begining all I tried to do was figure out how the child thinks and reacts to the projects given, what they like doing more, getting to know them was my aim. Eight months later, after learning so much from these kids, and in turn teaching them too, every single art class brings me so much joy! The little things they say to me matter so much and sometimes make my day. 

 

The love of teaching is growing on me, it feels so good to give away my knowledge to little growing kids, adding something to their lives. The artworks they come up with are so brilliant, their wild imagination amazes me. Their stories can go on and on. Its made me realize what thinking like a kid really means.
